Grief and Loss Series – Episode 7 – Processing Grief and Loss

Linda Kreter and Susie Reece
Linda Kreter and Susie Reece bring the seventh episode in our series about Grief and Loss on WiseHealth for Women Radio. Today’s episode is titled: Processing Grief and Loss.

Everyone processes grief and loss differently. Yet, with COVID-19, we have a collective trauma affecting millions in our country and around the globe. Reflecting works for some people, and others find the prior busy-ness alarming once it’s gone. Loss of employment, domestic and financial strains, even who we are individually is up for personal review. It’s a challenging time.

With the loss of identity, adaptability is important. Fears, which are fomented in relentless news and social media seldom bring out the best in people. Suddenly we’re all vulnerable and laid bare; this is new and we may need help navigating our way – please obtain help if you feel you need it.

Susie’s new book, “Moments From My Heart” puts her words (and her heart) into the world at just the right time. Pause, Who Are You, Never Look Back, Torn are all brief essays that will touch your heart. Find her book here: https://bit.ly/MomentsFromMyHeart. Personally autographed copies for $23.52 using SFA Consulting on PayPal.me, and include your shipping information.

We will be continuing this discussion and welcome you to this series. Future episodes will cover: Compassion versus Comparison, Language of Loss, Feeling Alone After Loss, Sibling Loss, Children and Loss, Grief is Unique, and the Power of Presence to Heal – and more. Life is precious, and so is saying goodbye.
