Linda Kreter and Susie Reece on WiseHealth for Women Radio presents:
Grief and Loss Series – Episode 5 – Loss in COVID-19 Quarantine –
|Linda Kreter and Susie Reece bring the fifth episode in our series about Grief and Loss on WiseHealth for Women Radio. Today’s episode is titled: Loss in COVID-19 Times.
We were feeling significant loss during this time of quarantine, and decided to share our experiences in a discussion ranging from the many, many losses during the COVID-19 pandemic: loss of innocence, freedoms we take for granted, dependence, employment, others’ frustrations, isolation, loneliness, all the way to gratitude. Sharing coping tips, how to stay supported and be supportive, kindness, compassion, and an appreciation for “life-as-normal”.
We wish you a calm as possible pause, and thank you for your contribution to following precautions, our healthcare workers, our friends who reach out, and for reaching out yourself. Uniting around one mission IS possible, and please stay safe and well.
We will be continuing this discussion and welcome you to this series. Future episodes will cover: Sudden Loss, Compassion versus Comparison, Language of Loss, Feeling Alone After Loss, Sibling Loss, Children and Loss, Grief is Unique, and the Power of Presence to Heal, Quarantine Edition – and more. Life is precious, and so is saying goodbye.
