Linda Kreter and WiseHealth for Women Radio presents:
Leigh Richardson: Understanding ADHA and Management Options –
Leigh’s interest in brain health and how we each function best began when one of her twin boys was hit by a car at age 11 and in 5th grade. When her son told her he had lost focus and his “brain didn’t work”, she dove into research. The outcome was biofeedback and neurotherapy to train the brain to recognize dysfunction and how to manage it.
This podcast will assist both adults and children with ADHD. Find yourself distracted and unable to focus to task completion? (We were bombarded with information the last three years, plus fear and uncertainty — many saw symptoms exacerbated.) Are you easily distracted, have poor time management, or think multitasking is a valuable tool? It’s not!
Neurotherapy and biofeedback gives data, and an understanding of brain processing. Is your brain oversharing or under-sharing stimuli? Is phasing out of synch? Neuroplasticity (the ability of the brain to retrain new neural pathways and defaults) is vast, and both children and adults have benefited from these practices.
